Myth Buster #5: There Is No “Right” Tech Stack—Only the Right Fit for You
Your businesses’ IT systems (also known as “tech stack”) should align with your current & future business goals, making each businesses’ tech stack unique for you. 🧬 💻
Some business leaders assume there’s a “best” IT setup—the gold standard every company should follow. But here’s the truth: there is no universal tech stack that works for everyone.
✨ Every business is unique. Your products, your team, your customers, your growth plans—they all shape the kind of systems that will actually support your success. The right technology stack isn’t about what’s trending or what other businesses have implemented; it’s about what’s aligned to your specific business needs.
Recently, I went deep sea fishing and learned there is not one way to fish; it depends on the fish and the conditions. There are dozens of fishing rods—casting, trolling, fly, electric—each chosen based on the fish you’re after and the environment you’re in. The bait varies, too: live, dead, artificial. Fish hunt based on sight, scent, or movement, so your approach has to match. As the saying goes, “To catch a fish, you need to think like a fish.” 🐟🐠
The same applies to business technology. You can’t copy what worked for another company. You need to start with your business goals and then select the systems, tools, and integrations that will get you there. This approach will will save you time and money.
🎣 Let’s stop chasing someone else’s “perfect” IT setup and start building one that works for your business.
Not sure if your tech stack is the right fit for your business? Or feeling like your systems are holding you back instead of moving you forward? I’d love to help. Reach out through the MonRoe Business Solutions contact form or message me directly here on LinkedIn to start the conversation.
